Hey there, I am Raj Rajgor from Bhuj - Kutch. Just like you, I am also a corporate guy working Monday to Friday. Kutch has alot to offer for an outdoor person like me, so me and my friends often roam around on weekends and as I explored more, I came across the thought of creating something for the fellow 9-to-5 working people that can add the excitement ingredient in their routine lives. And that's how the growing community of “Parttime Nomads” came in light.
We skip the crowded tourist hubs to bring you directly into the quiet, moonlit expanses of Dhordo, preserving the raw stillness of the desert.

Hello! I am Ashish Gohil, based in Bhuj - Kutch. For 19 years, I navigated a full-time corporate career, but my weekends always belonged to the mountains, forests, and Wildlife. This deep love for the outdoors sparked a passion for wildlife photography—a journey that began in 2014 with a simple point-and-shoot camera. To be born in Kutch, a unique region where the desert, ocean, and hills converge into a single landscape. It is a thriving haven for biodiversity:
370 – 400+ Bird Species recorded, 50+ Mammal Species recorded, 40+ Reptile Species recorded.

Beyond the daytime wilderness, I am deeply passionate about shooting the night sky. Over the years, I have explored and mapped pristine, off-beat locations across Kutch where light pollution is non-existent and the cosmos comes alive.
Part-Time Nomads
To share the magic of these landscapes, our group "Part-Time Nomads" organizes trekking and hiking expeditions for friends and nature enthusiasts.
Today, I dedicate myself full-time to exploring and documenting Kutch’s hidden gems. We venture into uncharted hills and remote locations that remain entirely untouched by commercial tourism.

Our weekend trips to Kutch are all-in-all about living in nature, exploring unknown places alongside the famous Rann of Kutch white desert. We can connect with the local people, know about their culture, do some astrophotography, witness the Milky Way, and various other things.
